1)
What is Oregon Fest?
It’s a one-day, rain or shine, community event which draws
over 10,000 people. It is a non-profit, family oriented, fun
day.
2) Why does it happen?
Oregon Fest is simply a celebration of our community! An
opportunity for families and neighbors to come together and
enjoy each other. We seem to live in a “what’s in it for us”
time, and this is a place for all of us to just “give back”
and show our community pride.
3) Who makes it happen?
Oregon Fest happens
because of the generous contributions of area businesses and
individuals, and the donated time of local groups and
organizations. Being sanctioned and supported by the City of
Oregon, the Fest core committee is made up of only 8-10
volunteers. Eight months of planning begins in September to
create a smooth, safe, fun-day for everyone involved:
exhibitors, parade folks and those attending.
4) Where is Oregon Fest held?
Oregon Fest is held on Dustin Road in Oregon, Ohio. Dustin
Road is 1/2 mile east of I-280 and one block south of Navarre
Avenue (St. Rt. 2). It runs east from St. Charles Hospital to
Coy Road.

5) How much does it cost to get
into the Oregon Fest?
Admission is free.
6) How much does it cost to park?
Parking is
free in the old Food Town parking lot on Navarre Avenue.
Handicapped parking is available in this lot.
7) How can I sign-up to
volunteer? You

8) How many hours must I work if
I volunteer?

Working all day is a great experience but 2hr. and 4 hr.
shifts can be scheduled.
