Our Mighty 2007 Groups of Volunteers
Oregon Church Of The Nazarene
Park Ellis Service Master Clean
The Oregonian Club
Oregon Fest relies 100% on the generous,
donated time of local groups, organizations and individuals.
Invitations requesting help are sent each year
to over 50 area groups, listing many ways to join in.
The months before the Fest are filled with
tasks made easy by many hands: publicity deadlines, placing
and removing Fest signs, planning activities, recruitment,
stuffing envelopes, etc.
On Fest day, many are needed to man the pop
booths, be parade marshals, set up and distribute
tables/chairs, parking attendants, grounds clean-up or being
handy men or runners who meet the needs of exhibitors… just to
mention a few.
Benefits to volunteers:
-
You’ll have an exhilarating sense of being
part of something much bigger than yourself. There’s nothing
like seeing over 10,000 neighbors having a great time and
knowing you helped make it happen!
-
It’s an opportunity to increase your group’s
exposure & recruitment. Wear a group cap or T-Shirt. Show the world who
you are and that you’re willing to pitch in!
-
Free “General Sponsorship” when your group
comes out in full force. Your support is listed on flyers, newspaper ads and sponsor boards at
the Fest.
Fest organizational meeting dates and times are
posted in The Press Newspaper and The Blade
Newspaper Neighbor’s East section.
